Three active state routes in Shelby County needed full resurfacing: Aiken Road (KY 362), Floydsburg Road (KY 1408), and Lucas Road (KY 322). All three carried high-speed traffic throughout the project, requiring proper work zone safety management alongside the resurfacing work itself.
We milled the existing surface and paved 9.5 miles of state roadway across the three routes, placing more than 8,000 tons of asphalt and managing active traffic with proper warning signage throughout. The project was completed under full KYTC specification.
